Messages contain all of the content you will be using to deploy to your contacts. When creating a message, you provide the sender information, subject line and template you wish to send. Messages can be re-used over and over again in your deployments to allow you to send the same content to multiple contact segments.
Please note: To try out the feature, click the full screen icon in the tutorial.
Step 1: The first step is to open Compose -- Messages, hover over Create new message and click Standard
Step 2: Click Message name
Step 3: Type **** in Message name
Step 4: Click Campaign name
Step 5: Select Campaign
Step 6: OR click Create new to make a new one
Step 7: Select the Content editor you would like to use for creating/changing your content.
Step 8: OPTIONAL: Select the Template you would like to start with. If No template is selected, you will start from scratch.
Step 9: Click Save
Step 10: Click Envelope
Step 11: Click From address
Step 12: Select From address
Step 13: The From name will automatically populate based on the chosen From address. This can be edited for this one message.
Step 14: Click Reply-to address
Step 15: Select Reply-to address
Step 16: Click Subject line
Step 17: Type **** in Subject line
Step 18: Click Content
Step 19: Edit your Content in the editor until you are satisfied with the results.
Step 20: Click Text
Step 21: Click Generate text version
Step 22: Make edits to the Text version if needed
Step 23: Click Preview
Step 24: Leverage different settings to preview your email content.
Step 25: Click Click tracking
Step 26: Links are automatically tracked but you can alter the name used to identify them for later use in segmentation and reporting.
Try to be as descriptive as possible.
Step 27: Click Test
Step 28: Adjust different settings to create your test deployment.
By default, the test deployment will go to your user email address.
Step 29: Click Send when you are ready to deploy.
Step 30: Don't forget to click Save before you leave.
Step 31: That's it. You're done.
